Electric membrane doser TTELM-1/20-17000/220/270 — precise dosing of liquids for food, technical and laboratory applications

How to choose the right electric doser and avoid mistakes

Why the manufacturer matters

An electric doser is not just a filling device, but a unit that affects portion accuracy, line stability, and minimal product loss. That is why, when choosing one, it is important to consider not only the price and dosing range, but also the manufacturer, service, spare parts availability, and real operating experience with the equipment.

What to pay attention to when choosing a doser

Before purchasing, you need to determine what product will be dosed, into what type of container, and with what accuracy and performance. It is important to consider viscosity, flowability, chemical activity, the presence of impurities, and the requirements for the materials of the wetted parts.

The main criterion is not only the dose range itself, but stable volume repeatability in real operation. That is exactly what determines packaging quality and predictable results.

Questions to ask the manufacturer before purchase

Three key questions worth asking before purchase:

1. How does the doser perform under real operating conditions?
2. Are there successful case studies with my product?
3. Are service, repairs, and spare parts available in Ukraine?
4. What pump type and materials are suitable specifically for my product?

Ukrainian manufacturer of dosers

Why Titan Techniks

Titan Techniks is a manufacturer that offers not just equipment from a catalog, but solutions precisely selected for the specific needs of your production.

The engineering team behind the Titan Dispenser brand has been developing electric dosers for many years specifically for Ukrainian operating conditions. Our clients include food industry enterprises, chemical manufacturers, cosmetic companies, as well as laboratories and medical institutions.

The approach is built around customer needs:

• what product needs to be dosed
• what volume per shift
• with what accuracy
• under what conditions the equipment will operate

This makes it possible to select a solution not from a template, but for a specific task.

Classification of Titan Techniks dosers

Titan Techniks offers several types of dosing equipment depending on product properties and production process characteristics. This approach makes it possible to choose the optimal solution for accurate delivery of both liquid and viscous products and materials.

Diaphragm dosers

Diaphragm dosers are designed for accurate and stable delivery of liquid substances where tightness, reliability, and dosing repeatability are important. They operate through the reciprocating motion of a diaphragm, which creates vacuum and pressure in the working chamber, ensuring suction and delivery of the product.

This type of doser is well suited for food liquids, technical solutions, reagents, and various production processes. Diaphragm dosers are especially effective where accurate work with free-flowing substances and stable results are required.

Peristaltic dosers

Peristaltic dosers are used for high-precision dosing of liquid, sensitive, and chemically active products. Their operating principle is based on compressing an elastic tube with rollers: the product moves inside the tube and does not come into contact with the internal elements of the pump. This dosing method provides ultra-small volumes with accuracy from 0.1 ml.

This makes such dosers especially suitable for working with reagents, laboratory liquids, pharmaceutical compounds, cosmetic products, and other materials for which process cleanliness, gentle delivery, and minimal contamination risk are important. Peristaltic solutions are best chosen where hygiene, ease of maintenance, and careful dosing are the priority.

Impeller dosers

Impeller dosers are used to deliver viscous, soft, and non-homogeneous products. Their operation is based on a rotating impeller that moves the product inside the working chamber and ensures stable delivery.

These dosers are suitable for food products, sauces, cream-like formulations, pastes, cosmetic masses, and other medium-viscosity substances. Impeller solutions are best used where a combination of stable delivery, gentle product handling, and the ability to work effectively with denser media is required.

How they differ

The main difference between these types of dosers lies in the principle of product delivery and the type of medium they work with.

Dosing range of diaphragm pumps

For example, a doser with a capacity from 3 to 4500 ml per minute or from 3 to 3500 ml per minute. Choose the performance you need.

How a diaphragm doser works

The operating principle is based on the reciprocating movement of a diaphragm, which changes the volume of the working chamber. As a result, the liquid is first sucked in and then delivered through the outlet valve into the line and filling nozzle.

The advantage of such a device is that the working medium is separated from part of the pump’s mechanical assemblies. This is important for precise dosing and for working with chemically active liquids.

Applications of Titan Techniks dosers

Electric dosers are used where a stable, repeatable, and most importantly accurate result is required under daily workload. They are in demand in several key areas.

• Food industry — syrups, oils, beverages, additives
• Technical liquids — oils, reagents, washer fluids, solutions, liquid lubricants
• Laboratories — precise delivery of chemicals and reagents in medium volumes
• Cosmetics and household chemicals — liquid soap, concentrates, lotions, shampoos

How to choose a doser for production

Selection begins with an analysis of the product, the required dose volume, accuracy, and performance. Then the pump type, materials, control format, and configuration for the container and operating mode are chosen.

When selecting, the following are taken into account:

• Type of liquid
• Viscosity and flowability
• Dosing range
• Line performance (doses per minute)
• Chemical resistance and sanitary requirements

Why a Ukrainian manufacturer matters

A local manufacturer is not only about buying equipment, but also about having access to service, consultation, and spare parts without long waiting times. For business and production, this directly affects downtime, maintenance cost, and line operation predictability.

Titan Techniks offers dosing equipment with clear service support within the country and the ability to select a solution for a specific task. For manufacturers, this is far more practical than buying equipment abroad without a clear technical base and support.

Frequently asked questions from our clients

Which doser should I choose?

The choice of a doser primarily depends on the properties of the product, the required accuracy, and the specifics of the production process. For liquid, sensitive, or chemically active substances, different types of dosers may be used — diaphragm, peristaltic, impeller, or pneumatic — depending on the application conditions.

Are the dosers suitable for food products?

Yes, if the materials of the wetted parts are properly selected and comply with food industry requirements.

Can a doser be selected for a specific volume?

Yes, solutions are available in a wide dosing range — from 0.1 ml to 35 000 ml per minute per pump.

Can the dosers be used for technical liquids?

Yes, provided that the materials are selected correctly, taking into account the chemical activity of the medium.
