Dispensers for anti-inflammatory drugs

Inflammatory processes in animals may occur as a result of injuries, infections, surgical interventions, chronic diseases, and allergic reactions.

Among veterinary anti-inflammatory medications, the following are commonly used:

• Meloksivet: an injectable solution based on meloxicam, manufactured by Ukrzoovetpromsnab (Ukraine).

• Firomax: tablets containing firocoxib, produced by Ukraina.

• Rimadyl: a carprofen-based medication available in tablet and injectable forms from Zoetis (USA).

• Metacam: a meloxicam-based product available as a suspension and injectable solution from Boehringer Ingelheim (Germany).

• Previcox: tablets containing firocoxib from Merial (France).

To ensure accurate dosing, reduce the risk of overdose or underdosing, and maintain sterility and ease of use both in veterinary clinics and at home, it is recommended to use specialized dispensers that match the formulation and route of administration of the specific medication.
